Agatha Fiúza, originally from Além Paraíba, Minas Gerais, lives in the city of Rio de Janeiro. She is an artist, researcher, and art educator. She holds a degree in Art Education (Visual Arts) from the School of Fine Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (EBA-UFRJ) and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts (Sculpture) at the same institution. She has been a member of ReAu (UFRJ Agroecology Network) since 2021 and is a PIBIAC scholarship recipient for the project “Decolonial Poetics: Methodologies Involving the Work of Denise Ferreira da Silva.” Her artistic work explores the intersection of memory, ritual, and decoloniality.
