Julián d’Angiolillo

Julián d’Angiolillo (Argentina) holds a degree in Visual Arts from the “P. Pueyrredón” National School of Fine Arts (UNA) and studied at the School of Dramaturgy (EAD) in Buenos Aires. His work gives form to diverse records—including recordings, photographs, installations, and documentary films—that capture habits within specific physical territories. Amidst the institutionalization of lived experiences into efficient, categorized frameworks, his work seeks to identify intervals, exceptions, anomalies, and experiences on the verge of extinction. He has directed the feature films La gruta continua, Cuerpo de letra, and Hacerme feriante, as well as the short films Condominio, Suite Matanzas, and Autosocorro. His site-specific works include the video installations Direção de passeios at the Buenos Aires Botanical Garden, Informe del aire at Móvil, La remPlaza for the Performance Biennial, and Antrópolis at Tecnópolis, as well as the recent collaborative work Geonnitus.
