Luci Quillauaman

Luci Quillahuaman is a Quechua visual artist and architect from Cusco, Peru. She is trained in various textile techniques and possesses ancestral knowledge linked to the land, plants, and collective labor, rooted in her family ties to the Chinchero communities of Cusco.

Her transdisciplinary work encompasses sculpture, painting, drawing, and 3D animation. Working in both digital and analog formats, she draws inspiration from iconography as well as traditional, contemporary, and pre-Columbian textile techniques. Luci dedicates herself to research and outreach projects that highlight the connections between the three pillars of her work: weaving, art, and architecture.

She has participated in numerous artist residencies and exhibitions—locally, nationally, and internationally—and is a member of several collectives, including “Sol de Soles,” a center for arts and traditional studies.
