AIR Rio Residency is a residency project aimed at female artists and filmmakers interested in Artificial Intelligence. Conceived by Nagila Guimarães and Helmut Batista, it aims to promote innovation, equity, and global connection through creativity and technology. AIR-Rio was created to be a bridge between talent from the Global South and the forefront of artificial intelligence, driving the future of narratives to be human, diverse, and powerful.
AIR-Rio has the fundamental support of partners who believe in technological sovereignty and the creative potential of the Global South. Together, we are building new paths for innovation. An achievement of MAIS MULHERES AV and CAPACETE, with strategic partnership from the City of Rio – Municipal Secretariat of Science and Technology (Naves do Conhecimento), BRICS Women’s Business Alliance (WBA), and BRICS Arts Association.
